Our Mission
At Ozark Legacy Dance, our mission is to inspire and empower dancers of all ages and abilities through high quality dance education in a supportive, family-focus environment. We offer expert instruction in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary, acro and preschool dance. Helping students to build confidence, creativity, and lifelong skills. Located in Ozark, Missouri, is a short commute down HWY 14 from Nixa or down Hwy 65 from Springfield. Hi, I’m Alisha, my family is the proud owners and directors of Ozark Legacy Dance! Dance has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I’m so grateful to share that passion with our amazing students and families every day.
I hold a degree in Dance and French from Missouri State University and I’m certified in Preschool Dance
Hi, I’m Alisha, my family is the proud owners and directors of Ozark Legacy Dance! Dance has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I’m so grateful to share that passion with our amazing students and families every day.
I hold a degree in Dance and French from Missouri State University and I’m certified in Preschool Dance Education, Alixa Flexibility, and Acrobatic Arts. With over 15 years of experience in early childhood education, I have a special love for working with young dancers—helping them discover the joy of movement while building strong technique from the very beginning.
At Ozark Legacy Dance, my mission is to create a welcoming space where dancers of all ages can grow, express themselves, and feel at home. Whether it’s guiding tiny dancers through their first plié or coaching older students to shine on stage, I believe every dancer has something unique to offer.
When I’m not in the studio, you’ll probably find me planning our next recital, cheering on my students at performances, or enjoying time with my family. I can’t wait to welcome you to our dance family and be part of your dance journey!

We offer competitive dance teams for ages 3-18 with all skill levels. Reach out below for more information.
Performance Based Classes
All our performance based classes have two opportunities a year to perform. Once in December at an informal studio wide showcase and once in the spring at our big professional recital.
