Recital Information

Recital Pictures will be at the studio.  Dancers can wear their hair any way they choose and recital makeup is optional.  Recital Picture times will be sent out with costumes and emailed our approx 4 weeks before picture day.  Dancers will arrive in base costume pieces and do one individual pose and one group pose per dance class.  Purchase is optional but attendance is requested to have a complete cast picture for the studio.  

In studio full cast rehearsal will take place the week of recital.  Dancers will wear the recital t shirt, black leggings or shorts and have their hair pulled back in a pony tail.  While parents can stay, we ask that no siblings not enrolled in a recital class attend as there is not enough space.  No dance bags allowed only shoes needed per each dance an a spill proof water bottle.  

Dress Rehearsal will take place the Friday before recital at either Ozark High School or another location in Ozark Missouri. Dancers will arrive with hair and makeup done and base costume pieces on with a coverup or robe.  Arrival times will be available the month before recital.   

Hair should be in a ballet bun for girls and neatly groomed for boys.  Girls hair will need a hairnet on recital day and the studio will have some available should you need them.  

Girls Makeup-Foundation, Rose Blush, Mascara, Rose Lipstick(not shiny) and Rose Blush.  False eyelashes are allowed but not required.  

In order to keep Ozark High School clean we ask that dancers to NOT wear body glitter or glitter spray

Small Stud Earrings and permanent bracelets are allowed, but NO watches, rings, dangly hoops, necklaces or other piercings are permitted for the safety of all dancers.  

On Recital Day dance families will arrive at Ozark High School and  will check in to their assigned dressing room approx 45 minutes before show time.  We will not hold the curtain unless absolutely necessary.  

Each family will receive 2 complimentary tickets.  These tickets will be passed out 1 month prior to recital. Additional tickets can be purchased until 24 hours prior to show day.  Tickets to the dance recital will be available at Ozark High School 30 minutes prior to doors open will be $2 additional.

Important Recital Dates

• December 15 – Recital Fee Due 
• Feb 15 – Costume Deposit Due
• April 15 – Costume Balance Due in order to take home costumes
• May 10 – All Tuition Balances must be paid to purchase tickets
